Blogsy

They have updated blogsy, the iPad app I use for blogging and it’s rather cool. The only complaint I had about it before was that you couldn’t edit text in the designer – you had to go to HTML mode to do it. Now they have fixed it.    In other news I recently posted [...]

iTunes + DRM

Ok i am going to put down some facts here in the hope that anyone trying to work with digital rights management and the apple are saved some effort. Here are some facts that you can get from a variety of sources, but i consolidate here. if you rent a movie on an apple TV, [...]

Should I buy an iPhone 4S?

Decisions decisions! I have an iPhone 4 already and the only major advantage for an upgrade is SIRI, the personal AI. I just don’t know if that’s enough. Jan-olov at work has one already – he’s a bit of an apple evangelist.. He thinks I should have one – maybe this is a job for [...]

Organizing the iPad

Somebody asked me yesterday if I had a new iPad – which I don’t, I’ve just done a couple of things with this one; I’ve cleaned it’s screen, changed the background image (my last image was one from a forest) and had a tidy up. Of my apps and my ebooks. I pretty much did [...]

i came across this app while browsing through the appstore the other day, and i have to admit it is pretty amazing – its a photo gallery a bit like flickr but all of the work i saw on the app was just beautiful – perhaps because the app just displays the best of the [...]

iPlayer

Last week i downloaded the BBC iPlayer for my iPad and i have to admit i love it. theres a 65kr per month subscription but i think its more than worth it when you look at the pure diversity of programs that are on it; So whats been happening is in the evenings I’ve been [...]

iOS5 and other cool things

Today was a bigger day than i thought – i knew that iOS 5 was coming out last night and i admit i had trouble downloading and installing it like many people – apples servers were just overloaded. I haven’t had a chance to really play with it yet because i am working today, but [...]

Steve Jobs at D5

It’s amazing the reaction I have seen to the passing of Steve Jobs and he was an incredible man. I took a look at the interviews he had with Walt Mossberg at D5, and I think if you take time to go through them you can get the beginning of an idea of how incredible [...]

And the world moves on…

I woke up this morning and the first message i got was a simple one “Steve Jobs is dead”. Ok i thought, and went and made myself a cup of coffee. I sat down at my mac, powered it up, opened up the web browser and the homepage of apple.com popped up, with a picture [...]

Skype Vunerablility

Its hard to believe that the vunerability in this video exists – because it seems to imply one of the fundamental rules for secure coding is being broken here – ie – always check your inputs. Its quite a cool video to see though and worth noting.
